PRESS: Fifteen Women to Follow on the Local Hip-Hop Scene

Wow! It is such an incredible honor to be featured in the 2019 Triangle Music Issue of the Indy Week for my efforts in the Raleigh-Durham area! It’s been on my vision board for quite some time to make it to the magazine, and I’m so honored and grateful to share the space with some amazing women, some of who I’m lucky to call friends and colleagues.

I love working alongside and highlighting fellow women in the industry, since there aren’t many of us. I’ve been lucky to work alongside many for most of my key projects, such as Art of Cool Festival, Dreamville Festival, Beats N Bars, and others.

If you’ve haven’t gotten the chance, please check out the link below!

Snippet: Chelsey Bentley Holts (@carolinabluebentley) , the founder of Nakoma Marketing + PR and the Student Affairs Director of Marketing and Communications at NCCU, has worked for Art of Cool, Beats n Bars and, most notably, the inaugural Dreamville Fest; she’s currently on assignment at the 2019 Essence Festival.
